Position Summary

Mr. Richard Shabazz serves as the Regional Director for TransAtlantic Transportation Service Ghana and is responsible for overseeing transportation operations, package delivery services, medical logistics, customer service, staff supervision, and community partnerships within his assigned region.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transportation and delivery operations within the assigned region.
• Ensure vehicles operate according to approved schedules and routes.
• Monitor service quality, punctuality, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate transportation services for passengers, medical appointments, and special events.
• Resolve operational issues and emergencies.

• Supervise drivers, dispatchers, logistics personnel, and support staff.
• Conduct employee training and performance evaluations.
• Ensure staff comply with organizational policies and safety procedures.
• Promote professional customer service and teamwork.

• Oversee transportation of personnel, medical supplies, medications, documents, and small packages.
• Coordinate route planning and delivery schedules.
• Ensure safe handling and accountability of transported items.
• Monitor operational efficiency throughout the region.

• Ensure vehicles receive proper maintenance and inspections.
• Monitor fuel usage and vehicle performance.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance services.
• Maintain transportation safety standards.

• Build partnerships with local communities, healthcare providers, businesses, and government agencies.
• Represent TransAtlantic Transportation at regional meetings and public events.
• Promote organizational services and community outreach programs.

• Assist with budget preparation and expense monitoring.
• Review operational costs and recommend improvements.
• Submit regional operational and financial reports.

• Ensure compliance with transportation laws and nonprofit regulations.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and customer complaints.
• Implement corrective actions and safety improvements.
